Todd MetlenFor nearly 2 years, Todd Metlen has been putting the pieces into place to create Design+Vision. Funding was established and the formal organization was formed with offices in the US and Malaysia in 2005.

Over the past 20 years he has been a key contributor to the development of many successful consumer products and business ventures for companies like BMW, Siemens, Compaq, Samsonite, Phillips, Johnson &Johnson, Porsche Design Golf, Blue Microphones and Nokia

Prior to founding Design+Vision he held the position of Senior Design Development Manager for Nokia, Inc. He was hired by the Global VP of Product Design and the Chief Designer for Nokia, for a 3 year project to create the innovative new luxury sub-brand, VERTU. The launch product incorporated over 400 mechanical components made of the most exclusive materials. The outcome was a mobile phone of such value that it commanded a price of over USD $20,000 in the solid platinum variant. Additionally, Todd and his team led the development and execution of all VERTU accessories. In January 2002, VERTU was officially launched to the world at Fashion Week in Paris.

Todd Metlen's personal contribution to the Vertu project was so significant that he was named co-inventor on the US and International utility patents assigned to Nokia.
